Think of Bergara Premier Series as custom rifle, but with standardized expert-selected specifications for greater efficiencies in parts production and assembly – providing custom performance at prices that are affordable to serious shooters. Bergara’s Premium 416 stainless steel barrels receive a proprietary honing process at our barrel-making facility in Bergara, Spain. Then, at the Bergara USA factory, the barrel receives a Cerakote finish and is coupled with our proprietary Bergara PREMIER action, featuring a nonrotating gas shield, coned bolt nose, and sliding plate extractor.
The Bergara Premier Long Range action is designed as a two-lug system that features a separate floating bolt head to ensure contact with the lug abutments in the action. It also features a cone-shaped bolt nose for smooth feeding of the cartridge, and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor located in the front of the lower locking lug. The one-piece bolt body is stainless steel with a pad at the rear to accept the threaded-in bolt handle. The bolt shroud and bolt stop are fully Nitrided for extreme durability, as well as its self-lubricating properties. The bolt handle is finished in Cerakote for the utmost protection. The two-position safety is part of the trigger assembly, which in the Stalker rifle is a TriggerTech® trigger with Frictionless Release Technology™. One great feature of this combination allows the bolt handle not to lock in the closed position, which in turn allows the rifle to be unloaded while in the safe position. The Long Range comes standard with a hinged floorplate and offers three barrel lengths, 20″, 24″, and 26″.
The stock on the Bergara Premier Long Range is a full length integrated 100% carbon-fiber mini-chassis for repeatable bedding. It features an M4 style trigger guard and supports a fully free-floated barrel. The stock has fully integrated flush cup mounts to use QD sling connectors.
All Premier Series rifles are guaranteed to produce sub-MOA groups with factory match grade ammunition. (See Picture!)

The hottest rifle of this season! New 2018 Summer Model: Bergara Premier APPROACH in 6.5 Creedmoor! The Premier Series is as close to custom as it gets in a production rifle! The Premier Series Approach Rifle features a Premium 416 stainless steel Bergara barrel (#5.5 taper), which receives a proprietary honing process at our barrel-making facility, and then continues through another four stages of production to produce the most accurate production barrel it could be possibly made. Upon completion, the barrel receives a Cerakote™ finish and is coupled with the Bergara PREMIER action, all of which is completed at Bergara’s facility in Lawrenceville, GA USA.
The Approach Rifle uses the Bergara Premier Action. This action is designed as a two-lug system that features a separate floating bolt head to ensure contact with the lug abutments in the action. It also features a cone-shaped bolt nose for smooth feeding of the cartridge, and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor located in the front of the lower locking lug. The one-piece bolt body is stainless steel with a pad at the rear to accept the threaded-in bolt handle. The bolt head, the non-rotating gas shield, the bolt handle, and bolt shroud are fully Nitrided for extreme durability, as well as its self-lubricating properties. The two-position safety is part of the trigger assembly, which in the Approach rifle is a TriggerTech Frictionless Release Technology. One great feature of this combination allows the bolt handle not to lock in the closed position, which in turn allows the rifle to be unloaded while in the safe position. The Approach comes standard with a 5 round AICS style magazine, and comes in 24″ barrel length on the 6.5 Creedmoor.
All Premier Series rifles are guaranteed to produce sub-MOA groups with factory match grade ammunition.

Ruger® built the Ruger Precision® from the ground-up, specifically for long-range, tactical shooting. The Gen 3 Precision Rifle comes with a new, free-float M-LOK® handguard that provides greater clearance with large diameter objective lens. The Gen 3 also comes with a muzzle brake, featuring a hybrid port design that reduces recoil by up to 40–60%, and reduces muzzle blast, directing it to each side of the shooter’s line of sight. A billet-aluminum bolt shroud also enhances the Gen 3 rifle. The upper receiver and one-piece bolt are precision CNC-machined from pre-hardened 4140 chrome-moly steel to minimize distortion; and a 20-MOA Picatinny rail is secured to the receiver with 4 #8-40 screws. The bolt has 3 lock lugs, resulting in superior strength and a 70º throw. The Precision MSR buttstock attaches to an AR-style buffer tube on a left-folding hinge, and the stock adjusts for length of pull and comb height. The buttstock features QD sling attachment points, a bottom Picatinny rail, and rubber buttpad. The buffer tube accepts any AR-style stock. An extended trigger-reach, AR-style grip, and a 45º reversible safety selector provide ease of operation, and the rifle is compatible with any AR-style grip or selector. The cold hammer-forged 4140 chrome-moly steel, medium-contour barrel has 5R rifling. The barrel nut enables close-tolerance headspacing, and a Marksman Adjustable™ trigger breaks clean to enhance accurate shooting. The Ruger Precision Rifle Gen 3 utilizes a multi-magazine interface that functions with AICS, polymer AR-10, and Gunsite Scout magazines. Includes two 10-round Magpul® PMAG®magazines.
